OUR HISTORY

In this house was born a family from the Alentejo

The family is composed by the mother Maria da Luz, the father Augusto and the children Tiago and Fabio.
It all started more than 20 years ago when my parents decided to turn our house into a restaurant.

We grew up in this house and remember the good times we spent in this neighborhood. We remember the first day we went down the stairs to our house and to our astonishment, our father had invited guests to have lunch at our table.
Customers became part of the family and from a home that was supposed to be normal, a restaurant was born that lasted a good and beautiful years.

We, the children, who grew up in pots and pans, ended up falling in love with this world. We are cooks and most important of all, we do what we really like! We had fun in our house, our way and our table.

It has been almost 10 years since we left home and it is today with great pride and pleasure that we return to our origins to cook for ourselves what is in our minds.

What we cook?

We do not have a specialty, we like to learn like to cook everything a little, combine flavors textures do our thing but without forgetting our bases.

That’s a lot of what we do to apply our own cuisine, our flavors without forgetting that touch.

Where does our inspiration come from?

We are a Alentejo family that lives in Cascais where we cross several generations we simply try to expose something our our origins to our youth our flavors habits everything in this House has a history where it is provided in one place.
